Our Little Warriors Program Consists of Three Primary Categories.

We begin our day with yoga to stretch and awaken the body while promoting relaxation and mental focus. We then transition to basic academics where we work on fostering a thirst for learning. Finally, we conclude with martial arts, which not only strengthen the body but also empower individuals with confidence and valuable self-defense skills. All presented in a fun but structured age-appropriate manner. We also include free time for play and socialization.

Martial Arts

  • Our martial arts program offers students an age-appropriate comprehensive system that includes grappling and striking techniques. Learning both provides the most well-rounded foundation for self-defense. We utilize games to keep it fun at this age, but classes are structured and real skills are taught.

Through martial arts training, students build physical strength, coordination, flexibility, agility and more, while also developing self-control, focus and respect. Training builds confidence as students learn techniques and overcome challenges, helping them build resilience and self-assurance.

Our Martial Arts program is designed not only to enhance physical skills but also to instill valuable life lessons, fostering character, discipline, and a strong sense of inner strength that students carry with them beyond the mat.

We teach a mix of martial arts styles but are rooted primarily in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing. Our goal for function is practical self-defense and to build an overall athletic foundation.

    • Improved Physical Fitness: Martial arts help little ones get stronger, more flexible, and build better coordination through fun movements.

    • Better Focus and Attention: Kids learn to listen carefully and follow directions, which helps them pay attention in class and at home.

    • Boosted Confidence: Completing small challenges and earning belts helps kids feel proud of themselves and their abilities.

    • Self-Control and Discipline: Martial arts teach kids to be patient, follow rules, and control their bodies and emotions.

    • Increased Social Skills: Children practice working with others, sharing space, and making friends during class.

    • Improved Balance and Coordination: Through kicking, jumping, falling, rolling, etc, kids improve their motor skills and physical coordination.

    • Healthy Habits: Martial arts encourage movement, helping kids develop a love for being active and staying healthy.

    • Stress Relief: Active play and learning new skills help little ones feel calm and relaxed after class.

    • Respect for Others: Martial arts emphasize respect for teachers, classmates, and the space around them, encouraging kindness and consideration.

    • Resilience and Determination: Kids learn to keep trying even when things are tough, building mental toughness and perseverance.

These benefits support not only physical growth but also emotional and social development in young children through fun and engaging martial arts activities.

Learning Loop

  • Learning Loop offers a well-rounded, fun and engaging introduction to basic arts and academics. Through a hands-on, interactive approach, young learners explore basic counting, math concepts, spelling, and letter sounds. Our curriculum introduces letter combinations and simple phonics to support early reading skills, while science activities spark curiosity about the world around them.

Creativity thrives with fun art and music activities that help children develop self-expression and motor skills. Each lesson is designed to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a natural love for learning. We believe in nurturing a child’s innate curiosity, fostering a sense of wonder, and creating a strong foundation for future academic success. By the end of the program, children will have a thirst for learning and the confidence to take on new challenges with excitement and enthusiasm.

  • Here is an outline to provide you with a basic idea of what we offer your child during our Learning Loop portion of the day!

Yoga

  • Our yoga practice starts with a focus on breath awareness and being in the present. We lead kids through a series of poses and stretches that are ashtanga and hatha inspired, as well as some basic western-style stretching.  We have fun exploring movement while being reminded to use our breath as a tool to remain calm and focused throughout.

Practice enhances a child’s flexibility, balance, and strength while building body awareness and coordination. Beyond the physical benefits, yoga promotes mindfulness and relaxation, helping children manage stress, improve focus, develop emotional resilience and foster a sense of inner peace.

Our program integrates yoga so that students are well prepped for the day, and understand they have built-in tools to cope, focus, relax, and to care for themselves.

    There is no religious component.

    • Improves Flexibility: Fun stretches and yoga poses help little ones become more bendy and flexible, making them feel more comfortable in their bodies.

    • Builds Strength: Yoga poses help build strong muscles, especially in the arms, legs, and tummy, which helps kids feel more stable and confident.

    • Promotes Calmness: Deep breathing and simple relaxation techniques in yoga help children feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of restlessness or anxiety.

    • Increases Focus: Yoga encourages children to pay attention to their bodies and breathing, which can help them focus better during other activities like school or playtime.

    • Improves Posture: Yoga helps kids stand tall and sit up straight by strengthening muscles that support the spine, promoting good posture habits.

    • Boosts Balance and Coordination: Practicing poses like "tree" or "warrior" helps kids improve their balance and coordination, making them more agile in everyday activities.

    • Supports Better Sleep: Gentle stretches and relaxation techniques before bed help calm the body and mind, promoting better, restful sleep.

    • Encourages Healthy Breathing: Learning to breathe deeply and slowly in yoga helps kids calm down and feel more in control of their emotions.

    • Supports a Strong Body: Yoga helps kids develop overall strength and flexibility, supporting healthy growth and making them feel good in their bodies.

    • Fosters Mindfulness: Yoga encourages children to be present and aware of their bodies, helping them develop mindfulness that can be helpful in school and social situations.
